The Mission:

THE Coalition exists to bring resources and support belonging, grow leaders, and influence change across our businesses, institutions, and organizations to create greater equity in our community. 

Our Priorities

there are five ways to create equitable communities:

Foster Diverse and Inclusive community

Promote local Multicultural Leadership Development amongst our shared Community through professional connections and development.

Economic Benefit and Innovation

Diverse teams and communities are proven to be more innovative, when they feel seen and connected to the outcomes that will affect their community partners/members. Additionally, it allows for entities to tap into a wider demographic of issues affecting marginalized communities through the building of trust.

Hone talent and skills

Small organizations often need to maximize the potential of every team member. By providing access to affinity spaces and DEI events, organizations can encourage staff members to develop new perspectives, enhance understanding, and acquire skills that could be vital for their role and the organization's success.

Inclusivity

By participating in a coalition focused on equity, small organizations can foster an inclusive work environment that benefits both current and future employees. This can help improve job satisfaction and employee retention, particularly important factors for small businesses.
